Often, ideas are more valuable than money. We require volunteers who can advise, plan and direct us in completing the charity projects. In other words, there are many different ways to donate:
- Donating advice and efforts to assist with management and operational functions
- Donating professional services, tools and infrastructure
- Donating money
ZERO% Administration Costs: All our members are volunteers. 100% of your generous donations will go directly to the Orphanage, schools and planned projects. Your contribution, no matter how small, will play a huge role in these projects. Be sure that your donation will impact the lives of these helpless and desperate children, not only today but for all generations to come. With your donations, these children will not only survive, but also LIVE.
Donating to assist in Management & Operational Functions
- The selection of volunteers will take place after an interview is conducted to ensure the requisite qualifications and a full understanding of our vision.
- Preparing for and attending to spiritual, psychological and social needs.
- Studying and develop different counselling programs to deal with children from different age groups. These programs will be based on the appropriate culture and the laws of Australia and South Sudan. Also, formation of management programs and procedures, which support our mission of the upbringing of orphans in an Orthodox Christian manner.
- Case management for each individual child to be written and recorded with the establishment of strict rules to ensure confidentiality of this information.
- Thoroughly programming all the rules of management and to ensure that they are made available to the related administrative offices in Australia to ensure full implementation and compliance.
- Establish safety protocols to ensure that children are not exposed to any hazards in the event of an emergency, according to the standards of South Sudan and Australia.
- Establish a system for a daily follow-up/review in South Sudan and Australia.
Donating Professional Services, Tools & Infrastructure
- Drilling groundwater wells, installation of water tanks and pumps.
- Installing solar panels, switching devices, batteries and so forth.
- Installing extensions and connections of various electrical wires, installation of power points, buttons and spotlights.
- Drilling sewage systems and wells.
- Installation of all sanitary devices, pipes, bath chairs, sinks, toilets and showers.
- Installation of doors and windows for all rooms, entrances and exits.
- Establishing the management rooms, storerooms, guests and waiting rooms.
- Establishing two kitchens and restaurants including the cool room, internal and external cookers, coal fired ovens, tables and storage units.
- Supplying the orphanage with kitchen tables, utensils and tools including dishes, pans, cutlery and other necessities.
